Case Study: OBDeleven

OBDeleven is a reliable, user-friendly car diagnostics and customization platform. It's licensed by leading car manufacturers like Volkswagen Group, BMW Group, and Toyota Group. We developed a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW) to address OBDeleven's security needs. Our approach included a multi-faceted testing plan to cover all specified assets. The scope included external IP addresses, domains, web application addresses, cloud providers, and Android and iOS apps.

The project followed a structured work plan that included reconnaissance and OSINT scans, automated vulnerability scans, and manual testing. We performed white-box testing on specific services and black-box testing on the mobile applications to ensure thorough coverage. We also conducted an office network penetration test on-prem.

By providing detailed reports and working closely with OBDeleven, we helped them address critical security weaknesses. Our partnership enabled them to significantly improve their security posture, safeguarding their domains, applications, and customer data.
